While each leader has a different leadership style such as transformational leadership, charismatic leadership, democratic leadership, what is clear is that every leader who is said to be successful is a leader who is able to influence and move his members (Udin, 2. This also applies to leaders in organizations, educational institutions, financial institutions, both male and female leaders. Education is a conscious effort to build national civilization. So apart from human resources, superior educators also require superior leaders. An - Nahdlah Islamic boarding school is an Islamic boarding school under the Nahdlatul Ulama education organizing foundation (YPPNU). This Islamic boarding school was founded after the establishment of the Nahdlatul Ulama Kebumen Islamic Institute. The establishment of the An - Nahdlah Islamic boarding school aims to build student morals and as an institution for deepening Islamic religion after receiving material from lectures. Even though it is one foundation, the An - Nahdlah Islamic boarding school stands alone in its management. The figure of Nyai's mother is the leader of the An-Nahdlah Islamic boarding school, a female figure who is energetic in her leadership. Becoming a female leader in the boarding school is very suitable because the An - Nahdlah Islamic boarding school only accepts female students. Santri who have a student background are certainly different from santri who do not have a student background. Santri who have an activist background are certainly different from santri who do not have an activist Students who are students are certainly different from adult This difference is also demanding in the management of Islamic boarding schools, especially in dealing with students who are also activists (Eichstedt, 2. The various backgrounds of the students at the An - Nahdlah Islamic boarding school give rise to various problems, starting from not following the applicable regulations. This problem is of course different from Islamic boarding schools where the vulnerable ages range from elementary school to high school. Not only that, puberty and psychology are also different. Students with a background in the psychology of feelings are also more mature and braver to express those feelings. If this expression is wrong, it will also become a problem for Islamic boarding schools. RESEARCH METHOD (Written in bold capital. Book Antiqua . This research is a qualitative research. The resource persons in this qualitative research were the An-Nahdlah Islamic boarding school administrators, administrators and students. Researchers choose a qualitative research methodology to understand how communities or individuals receive issues or change actions towards existing policies. (Maulana, 2. FINDINGS AND DISCUSSION No one's journey is smooth, like a road there will always be damage or gravel which is a test for those who want to pass. Management of Islamic boarding schools, too, all have their own tests. The test is a blow from Allah which is the measure for a person or institution to become better. For example, in an An-Nahdlah Islamic boarding school, there are definitely students who do not want to be restrained, so in conditioning all students, there is a need for regulations that are binding on all students. This research found several related things, among these findings. Santri do not congregate One of the obligations of students is to attend congregational prayers. is not uncommon for those who have the excuse of being unable to menstruate because they are tired of doing a lot of work during lectures. Just imagine if all students had different reasons, you can be sure that activities in an institution will not run well. Even if left unchecked, this will become a habit that can spread to other students. Santri do not participate in reciting the Koran The Koran recitation activity which is scheduled after sunset and dawn is mandatory for all An-Nahdlah students. The books studied vary, ranging from the genre of fiqh books, the genre of hadith books, the genre of history books, the genre of books that explain grammar or scientific tools for understanding and reading books without pronouns. Students who are scheduled until sunset usually do not take part in the Maghrib Koran because they are tired and have just finished studying. Proceeding 1st International Conference on Pesantren and Islamic Studies Vol. 01 No. : 21-27 Available online at http://jurnal. com/index. Students do not follow the rules The students of the An - Nahdlah Islamic boarding school arrive at the appointed time, namely sunset, and must arrive at the boarding school, so they can take part in the activities at the boarding school. However, these regulations are sometimes rejected or violated by students who join organizations. If we know someone who is active in an organization, they are usually critical and do not obey the rules for the reason that they are active in the organization and have the ideology that humans should not force people, everything must be based on likes and wishes. However, if this ideology continues to be adhered to, then an institution or organization will never be able to discipline its members. Including Islamic boarding schools, which have the meaning of educating the character and discipline of their students. Therefore, this ideology sometimes has a truth value and also a false value. Boarding school Islamic boarding school linguistically comes from the word santri, while santri themselves are students of a hermitage (Hariyadi et al. , 2. However, some interpret that Islamic boarding schools are places for students to gain religious knowledge. Known in society, someone who has studied at an Islamic boarding school definitely has a wealth of religious knowledge that is ready to be put into practice and become a religious figure in society (Chasanah, 2. This assessment comes from the community who place and entrust religious activities to Islamic boarding school alumni. The An - Nahdalah Islamic Boarding School is located within the Islamic Institute of Nahdlatul Ulama (IAINU) Kebumen. Precisely on Jl. Student Army. No. 55b Panggel. Panjer. Kec. Kebumen. Kebumen Regency. Central Java 54312. This Islamic boarding school is only intended for students who are studying at IAINU Kebumen at either undergraduate or master's or postgraduate level. Located on the edge of the city, and easy road access, it is even the main transportation access for the city of Kebumen, becoming an Islamic boarding school which is also well known by people who often pass through the city. WomenAos leadership Leadership in general is the ability to influence and inspire other people to achieve certain goals (Ahmad TaAorifin, 2. More than just giving instructions, a leader is able to drive his team with a clear vision, values and Good leaders are also able to listen, motivate and provide support to their team members. So female leadership is the delegation of power and authority to a woman so that she has the right and can lead, influence, mobilize, regulate, supervise, manage and be responsible for everything that is done by her subordinates, in this case the students who are looked after by caregivers or usually called mothers Nyai of the students at the boarding school (Brue & Brue, 2. The female leadership in Islamic boarding schools are Islamic boarding school alumni who were also activists during college. In fact, he is so active that now he is part of several managements at Muslimat. District level Scouts. Banwaslu and so on. A leader who is full of experience in the organization is Proceeding 1st International Conference on Pesantren and Islamic Studies Vol. 01 No. : 21-27 Available online at http://jurnal. com/index. certainly a big asset for managing, dealing with and educating students at the An - Nahdlah Islamic boarding school. Below are several pictures of activities led by the caretakers of the An - Nahdlah Islamic boarding school. Figure 1. Activities of An - Nahdlah Islamic Boarding School Students How to handle student problems An Ae Nahdalah From several discoveries in the field mentioned above, there are several solutions implemented by the caretakers of the An - Nahdlah Islamic boarding This solution is considered very effective for controlling students. These steps are: Firm Islamic boarding school caregivers handle problems in Islamic boarding schools with firmness. What is meant by being firm is not being strict with students in Islamic boarding schools, but what is meant by being firm is deciding problems in accordance with existing regulations and having the principle of not being easily swayed by anything (Boyer & Moreaux, 1. Unless violations committed by students fall into the category of being excusable or tolerable. In fact, in some cases, caregivers often give warnings to "If you intend to study and want to stay at the Islamic boarding school then you must follow all the rules and activities, otherwise you will be punished and if you still don't want to, please leave the Islamic boarding Why stay at the Islamic boarding school if all the rules are violated and activities are not followed "said the caretaker (Mrs. Nyai Maesaro. Advice Advice is carried out in two ways, namely open and closed(Haussler et , n. Open, that is, the caregiver gives advice while in the vorum and all students follow the vorum. With students gathered in the hall or mosque, then if there are some students who have problems, they are advised gently and returned to their original intention of entering an Islamic boarding school. Second, closed, namely advice carried out by caregivers in the room or office face to face and only a few students face or meet the Islamic boarding school A touch of psychology By understanding different characters, and the students who are often disobedient in the boarding school are those with an active background so apart from being firm, what the caregivers do is through a touch of psychology (Gallace & Spence, 2. What is meant by A touch of psychology is between Proceeding 1st International Conference on Pesantren and Islamic Studies Vol. 01 No. : 21-27 Available online at http://jurnal. com/index. the lover and the students sharing what they want in language that is soft and easy to understand. This is very effective because it seems non-judgmental, especially to students with activist backgrounds. CONCLUSION The conclusion from the explanation above is that in the problems of students in Islamic boarding schools, students such as santri do not congregate, santri do not participate in reciting the koran and . students do not follow the rules. In dealing with these problems, caregivers do three things, namely firmness, advice and psychological touch.
