ABSTRACT Mastery of language skills, especially writing, is very important to be improved by educators to students so that they can compete and participate in the era of society 5. This study aims to describe the TPACK-based writing learning process with Nearpod media for students in the era of society 5. It also aims to describe student perceptions of TPACK-based writing learning with Nearpod media. Finally it aims to explain the effect of TPACK-based writing learning with Nearpod media on students as learning integration in the era of society 5. 0 and how technology and faith can be bridged. The population in this study were 32 active second semester students at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) of English. Islamic University of Kadiri. Kediri. The regression equation test of student perceptions of academic essay learning shows that the development of writing skills has the highest value of 4. 50 of all indicators on the learning variable, meaning that the TPACK approach can improve student writing skills. The indicator of using Nearpod produces a value of 4. 47, as an effective learning media. is concluded that the use of Nearpod is effective in improving students' writing skills. Instructional writing course that involves faith could enhance faith integration in writing course. TPACK approach can be well used in society 5. 0 era learning. TPACK as a learning approach can be understood as an approach that can help teachers to be more creative and effective in providing content or teaching materials to students in accordance with the development of information technology that is always developing . Nearpod as a digital learning platform can be used as a choice of teaching media to foster new understanding to students as an interactive and interesting learning media with a variety of learning features such as quizzes, polls, and educational videos on writing learning material in one platform at once, making students able to actively participate in class and focus on learning material without having to search for material outside the platform because it has been provided in the form of presentations, learning videos to supporting books or articles needed by students . Nearpod prepares students for the Era Society 5. 0, this is because by using the Nearpod platform students are trained to get used to using digital media information and communication technology in everyday life, starting from learning that is easily accessible anytime and anywhere . Nearpod offers various benefits in learning writing for EFL students in the Era of Society 5. 0 because it can help students in increasing motivation, understanding, skills . , as well as student collaboration in learning writing which is very necessary in the Era of This platform offers features that can be used as writing practice with tutorials or guides and exchange ideas directly through online forums connected to social media, so Nearpod provides convenience in learning styles that are integrated with technology, pedagogy, content in learning writing in an effective way . However, this needs to be balanced with the ability of teachers to deliver material to be more effective and can be integrated with learning methods that suit the needs of students to be able to develop the writing skills they need in the Era Society 5. This is also especially necessary if teachers should enhance religious consciousness of students while using the technology. Based on the background and research that has been done above, researchers want to conduct a study with a focus on writing skills using the TPACK learning approach and as a teaching medium using the Nearpod digital learning platform. Nearpod was chosen as a writing learning media that focuses on collaborative interactions between students with learning materials themed on a phenomenon that is currently happening in the world of education, namely the use of AI . rtificial intelligenc. as a supporter or inhibitor of creativity in learning in the current era, this theme is considered close to students' daily lives so that it is easier to develop because it is close to students' daily lives. Sersan Suharmaji No. Manisrenggo Kediri, active students in the even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year, totaling 32 students, consisting of 15 male students and 17 female students who are in their second semester, because in this semester students have begun to get used to learning in universities and online learning with information technology. Writing course lecturers as resource persons to explore information related to their writing learning based on TPACK and whether it has been integrated with Era society 5. The research time was two months from July to August 2024. This was done to explore the research objectives, namely, to find out how teaching at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) of English at the Islamic University of Kadiri Kediri about the effect of implementing TPACK in teaching. teaching materials namely academic essays in writing courses and Nearpod as teaching media as a preparation for students in the era of society 5. Results and Discussions The research that has been carried out has research objectives that focus on several aspects of TPACK-based learning, including: the effectiveness of TPACK-based learning with Nearpod teaching media in improving writing learning outcomes for FKIP UNISKA students in the era of society 5. 0, student perceptions of TPACK-based writing learning with Nearpod teaching media, and the effect of TPACK-based writing learning with Nearpod teaching media on students as learning integration in the era of society 5. The statement items are considered valid if the value of CITC is greater than r-table in this study, there are 32 students as respondents, and the r-table value . is 0, 349. Therefore, the statements on the questionnaire are considered valid only if the CITC value is less than 0. The results of the validity test that has been carried out using IBM SPSS Statistics for windows, it shows the results that all items on the questionnaire statement tested are positive. From the test results, the r-count value shows greater than the r-table . which is> 0. so it can be stated that the statements in this study are valid. This also provides an answer that most respondents have understood the concept of TPACK-based learning which has a direct impact on the learning process and improved learning outcomes. Respondents also considered that learning writing with academic essay material delivered with Nearpod media helped them in learning as a form of integration of the use of technology in learning as readiness in the era of society 5. 0, with interesting features including Time to Climb and VR Field Trip providing new nuances and interest in learning more about academic essay learning in this writing course, from their enthusiasm during teaching and giving quizzes regarding writing learning with academic essay material, it can be concluded that learning writing with Nearpod media provides a positive perception. So, it can be concluded that H1: TPACK-based learning using Nearpod as teaching media is effective for learning writing as an integration of learning in the Era of Society 5. 0 for English Language Teaching and Education students is well tested/valid. In this study, so that the data measurement tool can be trusted, namely consistent if the measurement results are relatively consistent when used repeatedly. The measuring instrument used is a questionnaire with 22 statements as items. Sekaran . states that reliability is a measure of the stability of a consistent measurement. In this study, coefficient alpha is used to measure how well the items of the multipoint scale statement correlate with each other. Cronbach's coefficient alpha value of the data measurement tool is considered reliable and trustworthy if the value is > 0. 5, which indicates that the results can be trusted . The following table shows the results of the reliability test involving 32 Semester II students from FKIP English Universitas Islam Kadiri. With a value of 4. 50, this shows that students can follow and apply the learning provided by lecturers with the TPACK approach to improve their writing skills with Nearpod media as an adaptation to the era of society 5. In line with research once conducted . , namely on the development of learning media to improve student learning outcomes, which provides results that learning media can encourage students to find it easier to take part in teaching and learning processes, helping concentration with the selection of appropriate teaching media. The use of Nearpod as a learning media in writing courses with academic essay material indicates that it is effective to be used by lecturers as a learning media based on the TPACK approach as an adaptation of learning in the era of society 5. The TPACK learning process with Nearpod media on academic essay learning in writing courses that is expected to be adapted to teaching preparation in the era of society 0 for English language teaching and education students is formulated in Figure 2. The learning process is conducted online as part of the use of Nearpod in learning writing 2 for FETT English students of UNISKA Kediri. In the implementation of learning, teaching materials are first prepared related to the material/content of learning, namely academic essay. Then the materials, reference sources, quizzes and questions from the teaching material, namely academic essays, are uploaded to the Learning Room/Lessons that are already available in Nearpod along with setting the deadline for work and quizzes as a stimulus for strengthening academic essay material in writing courses for students. Before starting the delivery of teaching materials and the use of Nearpod media, students are first introduced to the concept of TPACK and the era of society 5. This was given as an overview of the TPACK concept and society 5. 0 as an input to the latest teaching knowledge and technology era. Nearpod is a kind of existing learning application, namely LMS with upgraded features, online libraries, video links from YouTube. VR from google maps and so on, it is possible to learn one by one and explore it as a qualified teaching media. Although there are so many benefits and conveniences from Nearpod, there are still shortcomings that can actually be dealt with, namely having to become a premium user by paying a certain amount of money so that there is more space to add learning materials or videos, even so it is actually very good to use existing material by anticipating the form of uploaded files and games, or url links from website addresses and YouTube to share. This is a small limitation of the many advantages of the Nearpod learning platform. So by studying Nearpod in more detail and creatively to sort and provide teaching materials or content (Content Knowledg. will make the learning experience more diverse, thus in the end it can be said that Nearpod is an effective teaching media for providing teaching materials for students in preparing them in the era of society 5. There is a framework for integrating faith and technology into an instructional writing course using the TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledg. This can be done by explicitly stating how the course will help students to develop strong writing skills . , argumentation, analysis, researc. , integrate faith perspectives ethically and thoughtfully into their writing, uttilize technology effectively for research, writing, and communication, and critically evaluate information and sources from a faith-informed Faith integration can be done by exploring diverse religious and spiritual traditions . ithin and beyond the students' ow. , analyzing ethical frameworks and values from various faith perspectives and discussing how faith can inform critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication. A faith-sensitive instruction can also create an inclusive and respectful learning environment for students of diverse faiths and backgrounds and lecturers could use culturally responsive teaching methods that honor students' beliefs and experiences. The writing learning process with academic essay teaching material with the TPACK approach is effective by using Nearpod learning media in the era of society 5. This is obtained from the calculation of the indicator of the use of teaching media with the highest average result 47 which states that the use of Nearpod teaching media is effective, compared to other indicators of the use of Nearpod media, namely interesting teaching media 4. 34, and teaching media easy to use at 4. Most of the students of FKIP English UNISKA Kediri in the second semester who have been given the teaching of writing with academic essay teaching material using Nearpod as the teaching media give a positive perception, this is indicated by the students' activeness during the use of Nearpod during class, they also give statements that Nearpod is very interesting because it is a learning media that is new to them and also has many diverse features in it. TPACK-based writing learning using Nearpod as the learning media has a positive effect, especially preparing students in the era of society 5. 0, as shown by the results of regression calculations which show the significance that learning with the TPACK approach is increased by 1 unit. Nearpod will increase by 0. 75 units. This means that TPACK learning has an effect with Nearpod media. As students' writing skills increase, the use of Nearpod becomes effective by stimulating students to get used to the use of increasingly diverse learning technologies, so that students will be more creative and independent to improve their skills, especially in writing skills. The research contributes to bridging technology and faith in education. It suggests to design courses or curricula that also provide additional digital skills for learning in the era of society 5. Further research can be done by conducting studies to determine the longterm impact of TPACK-based learning using Nearpod teaching media, especially on other language skills. Further research with a larger and more diverse number of respondents or samples is needed to find generalizations and find broader results. References:
