Abstract The quality of a country's education is determined by the quality of its educators.
Teachers who provide primary, secondary and early childhood education must have competencies and qualifications that are in accordance with national education standards.
The PreService Teacher Professional Education Program is an innovative program to prepare prospective certified teachers at SDN 1 Patalan Bantul.
Educational requirements for teachers include a minimum of a bachelor's degree and must have educator certification obtained through an accredited program.
After being certified by the Teacher Professional Education and Training Program, the entire certification process is carried out by Teacher Professional Education.
This research uses a qualitative approach using library research methods to investigate how teacher training policies in Indonesia meet the needs of professional teachers.

Setelah tersertifikasi oleh Program Pendidikan dan Pelatihan Profesi Guru, maka seluruh proses sertifikasi dilaksanakan oleh Pendidikan Profesi Guru.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kepustakaan untuk menyelidiki bagaimana kebijakan pelatihan guru di Indonesia memenuhi kebutuhan guru profesional.

INTRODUCTION
The Teacher Professional Education Program (PPG) is a program designed to improve teacher performance and professionalism by providing knowledge, experience, learning activities, feedback and appropriate learning models.
It is hoped that this program will produce reliable results that build, grow and increase the self-confidence of teachers at SD Negeri 1 Patalan Bantul in carrying out their duties.
Self-confidence is an important factor that influences tasks.
The results of the research show that teacher selfconfidence at SD Negeri 1 Patalan Bantul will have a big influence on the quality of learning and student desires.
Bandura stated that factors such as self-confidence or selfabilities, motivation, and the school environment greatly influence students' desires to Schools with high academic expectations and standards, as well as adequate academic and emotional support, will often encourage students to excel.
Additionally, when students are given opportunities to interact and collaborate with others to complete instructional tasks, learning often produces positive outcomes.
Good interpersonal relationships can increase feelings of trust and attention, which in turn increase feelings of belonging, self-esteem, and self-acceptance, as well as creating a positive learning If students have caring and supportive relationships with their educators, they usually have positive academic attitudes and enjoy school more.
So that they can achieve better results for their students, teachers at SD Negeri 1 Patalan Bantul must have confidence in their abilities to optimize their teaching assignments.
As a result, teacher professional education (PPG) is one program that has a direct effect on teacher professionalism, especially teacher self-confidence and better relationships between teachers and students.
RESEARCH METHODS
