Abstract The increasingly rapid development of information technology has encouraged media outlets to adapt their news presentation.
One way to do this is through the use of TikTok, which now serves not only as entertainment but also as a means of information.
The Meet Nite Live news program broadcast by Metro TV was also uploaded via the official @MetroTV account on TikTok in short video format.
This study aims to analyze the completeness of the news based on the 5W 1H elements and assess the effectiveness of information delivery via TikTok.
The news delivered is based on gatekeepimg, agenda setting and journalism theory regarding news completeness.
The research method used was descriptive qualitative and constructive paradgm, with data collection through observation and documentation of Meet Nite Live video content from April to June 2025.
The results showed that most of the news presented met the 5W 1H elements, although some news items were incomplete in their information In general, the short video format on TikTok has proven effective in attracting audience attention, making Meet Nite Live a potential alternative medium for information delivery in the digital age.

Abstrak Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang semakin pesat mendorong media untuk beradaptasi dalam penyajian berita.
Salah satunya melalui pemanfaatan media sosial TikTok yang kini bukan hanya berfungsi sebagai hiburan, tetapi juga sebagai sarana informasi.
Program berita Meet Nite Live yang ditayangkan oleh Metro TV turut diunggah melalui akun resmi @MetroTV di TikTok dengan format video singkat.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelengkapan berita berdasarkan unsur 5W 1H serta menilai efektivitas penyampaian informasi melalui TikTok.
Berita yang disampaikan berdasarkan teori gatekeeping, agenda setting dan jurnalisme dalam kelengkapan berita.
Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dan paradigma konstruktif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan dokumentasi terhadap konten video Meet Nite Live pada periode AprilAeJuni 2025.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar berita yang disajikan telah memenuhi unsur 5W 1H meskipun ada beberapa berita yang masih kurang lengkap dalam penyampaian informasi.
Secara umum, format video singkat di TikTok terbukti efektif menarik perhatian audiens sehingga Meet Nite Live dapat menjadi media alternatif penyampaian informasi di era digital.

INTRODUCTION
In today's rapidly evolving information and technology era, the development of digital technology has transformed the way the younger generation accesses media, especially social media, for information.

argues that information and technology media have become a primary need for the public to begin developing media literacy.
The high intensity of media and information is the reason why media literacy needs to be a crucial public issue.

Social media is a primary source of information, taking on traditional messages and roles similar to television.
This fast-growing platform, originally intended as an entertainment platform, now also serves as a way to quickly distribute information and messages in an accurate and engaging manner.

TikTok has become one of the most popular social media platforms in the world.
It uses a recommendation algorithm to connect content creators and influencers with new audiences.
METRO TV's TikTok account has begun utilizing TikTok as a content distribution medium, including through the Meet Nite Live program.
Meet Nite Live is an Indonesian evening television talk show broadcast by Metro TV.
The show is hosted by news presenter Valentinus Resa, who previously regularly hosted the Primetime News program.
The show premiered on February 20, 2025, and airs twice a week at the end of prime time.
Originally broadcast on television, the Meet Nite Live program is now also streamed on TikTok.
Meet Nite Live opens with a monologue from Resa addressing news stories circulating in the community over the past few days.
The monologue captivates Live reporting from the field is also possible on this show.
Resa will read the news package with a relaxed and lighthearted delivery.

This research methodology is qualitative.

The object of this research is a video post of the Meet Nite Live program uploaded via the official TikTok Metro TV account.

In this study, the constructivist paradigm, using Jacques Derrida's deconstruction approach, is used.

In the context of this research, the researcher acts as a critical reader who not only accepts the news text as it is, but also attempts to unravel the construction of meaning, discovering contradictions, incompleteness, or alternative meanings that may be hidden behind the news about Meet Nite Live on TikTok.
The researcher seeks to understand the meaning of the completeness of the news through content analysis, not to measure it absolutely, but to explore how the 5W 1H news elements are constructed on digital platforms.

This research will discuss, explain, and analyze the results of the data collection of Meet Nite Live news on the TikTok account @METRO TV, regarding the 5W 1H news completeness elements, using Journalism Theory.
This section explains the research results and provides a comprehensive discussion.
The results are presented in graphical form for easy understanding.
Description of the Research Object This research focuses on the completeness of Meet Nite Live news content based on the 5W 1H principles through the TikTok social media account @Metro TV, which serves as a news medium.
Data collection used two methods: observation and documentation.

IV.
CONCLUSION
In the Meet Nite live news research, researchers concluded that using journalism theory as a news completeness, there are news that fulfill the elements of 5W 1H news completeness and some that do not fulfill the elements of news completeness.
News content is produced through an initial process, namely selection, then filtering, media items that can be consumed in a person's time or space.
News content created by the TikTok account @METRO TV can attract attention because the news anchor's way of conveying news in an informal way, often accompanied by a monologue accompanied by comedy, the visual content of the news displayed is also interesting and adds a little animation to attract the audience and keep watching the news content.
And according to researchers, news content displayed using TikTok social media as a news medium in the digital era is very effective, the news displayed is also factual, accurate, clear and concise.
By using the TikTok application @METRO TV can provide and expand the reach in conveying current news.
