By doing so, the study aims to provide valuable insights into the current landscape of EFL research and highlight areas that warrant further investigation. METHODS The data for this bibliometric study were sourced from Google Scholar, a widely recognized and accessible database for academic research. To collect relevant articles, the Publish or Perish (PoP) software was employed, which is specifically designed to retrieve and analyze academic citations. The primary keyword used in the search was "Students' Engagement in EFL Classroom," ensuring that the collected data directly related to the focus of this study.
