ABSTRACT The aim of implementing Community Service (PkM) is to provide knowledge and skills in creating and using attractive PowerPoint applications to teachers at the Aliyah Islamic Boarding School Al-Hasyimiyah Tebing Tinggi. The method used in this activity is the direct method, namely the team directly provides training to the participants, and the participants each use their laptop to carry out the steps for using the Power Point application taught by the presenter/trainer. The results achieved from this program were that 80% of the participants were able to create and make good use of the PowerPoint application that was trained to them, and were able to apply it in carrying out learning activities. With the help of existing learning media or learning applications, a student can easily learn and receive learning. Apart from a teacher in learning activities being required to have competence in using learning media, a teacher is also required to be able to create his own learning media, one of which is through available applications, including the Power Point application. The Power Point application is a presentation application that can be used by teachers to support the implementation of learning activities (Setiawan. By using this application, teachers can be helped in their duties in delivering learning material, however, what needs to be noted is that the more interesting the teacher conveys learning messages, the students will be more interested in and master the material presented by the teacher. Therefore, when teachers use the PowerPoint application as a learning medium, the teacher must make it interesting. IMPLEMENTATION METHOD In order to provide solutions to the problems faced by partners, the Community Service Team offers an outreach and training program in making learning media through the Power Point application, for teachers at the Al-Hasyimiyah Tebing INOVASI: Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat. Preparation stage, conducting field surveys to find out conditions and problems in the target area. During the survey the team collected data and information through observations, interviews and discussions with school principals and The thing that was surveyed was the location where the activity was carried out, namely the Al-Hasyimiyah Tebing Tinggi Islamic Boarding School Aliyah. Meanwhile, the data collected through interviews and discussions is about the problems currently being faced by target partners in implementing learning, especially regarding the implementation of the use of learning media. From the results of the discussion, the implementation material was decided on creating learning media using the Power Point application, with a total of 25 teachers participating, the implementation location was held at the Al-Hasyimiyah Tebing Tinggi Islamic Boarding School Aliyah and the duration of the training was 1 day with a duration of 5 hours. The PkM team works to prepare raw materials in the form of software and other supporting materials. Implementation This stage begins by inviting prospective participants via the WhatsApp Group of Al-Hasyimiyah Tebing Tinggi Islamic Boarding School teachers' WhatsApp Group to register via Google Form. Next, training activities were carried out to create learning media using the Power Point application. The training material provided consists of two, namely the urgency of using learning media in teaching and learning activities and the practice of creating learning media using the Power Point application. The material is delivered using an andragogical approach, and uses lecture, question and answer, discussion and assignment methods. The next stage is the program evaluation After participants are given comprehensive training material, an evaluation is carried out on the participants to see whether they have achieved competency in creating learning If in this evaluation the participant is able to carry out it according to the stages that have been given, then the training participant is considered capable and successful in mastering the training material. Implementation of PkM Utilizing Power Point Applications in Learning Islamic Religious Education in Increasing Student Learning Motivation at Aliyah Pondok Pesantren Al-Hasymiyah Tebing Tinggi RESULTS AND DISCUSSION In this stage, the results of the implementation of Community Service (PKM) which have been carried out at the Al-Hasyimiyah Tebing Tinggi Islamic Boarding School Aliyah are explained as follows: Preparation Stages At this stage, the team carried out an initial survey of the location where training activities were carried out on the use of learning media using the Power Point application. After discussions and dialogue with the school principal, it was agreed that the implementation of training activities on the use of learning media would be carried out on Wednesday. November 6 2019. Apart from discussing the issue of implementation time, the PkM team also discussed the material that would be trained on the Al-Hasyimiyah Tebing Islamic Boarding School Apart from preparing the various things above, the team also prepared a simple module on creating learning media using the Power Point application, and prepared participant attendance via Google Forms. Implementation Stage This PkM activity was carried out on Thursday. November 7 2019, at the Al-Hasyimiyah Tebing Tinggi Islamic Boarding School Aliyah. This activity starts at 08. 00 sd. 00 WIB, which was attended by teachers in the Aliyah Pondok Pesantren Al-Hasyimiyah Tebing Tinggi, totaling 25 Before the event starts, all participants are required to register via the Google Form application provided by the team. This activity was opened by the head of Madrasyah Aliyah AlHasyimiyah Tebing Tinggi Islamic Boarding School, in whose words he welcomed and was enthusiastic about the implementation of this PkM. According to him, "the material for making learning media is very useful and encourages participants, consisting of teachers at the Al-Hasyimiyah Tebing Tinggi Islamic Boarding School Aliyah, to follow it " In the activity of creating learning media using the Power Point application, in the first session participants were first given material about "the urgency of using learning media in teaching and learning activities". Apart from that, there was an opportunity for participants to ask questions during the delivery of the material. This aims to ensure that participants can listen and follow the steps that are trained to them. After all the material has been presented, the presenter still gives the participants the opportunity to ask questions about things they have not yet understood. Evaluation Stage After the material has been delivered, the presenter gives the training participants the opportunity to repeat the steps for creating learning media by using the Power Point application independently . This is done to see the competency achievements of participants in participating in this The results of recreating the learning media are used as initial information in evaluating the implementation of this PkM. The standard score which is the criterion for success for participants is a minimum of 70 . eventy fiv. From the evaluation results, it was found that 90% of participants who took part in the learning media creation training activity were able to create learning media using the Power Point application. CONCLUSION The conclusion that can be drawn from the implementation of Community Development (PkM) is that Community Development regarding "the use of Power Point applications in creating learning media is felt to be very useful for teachers at the Al-Hasyimiyah Tebing Tinggi Islamic Boarding School and 90% of the participants have can create learning media by using the Power Point application correctly and appropriately.
