In what ways do climate impacts reshape consumption practices within street markets, particularly in terms of product availability, pricing, and consumer purchasing behavior? How do vendors operating in informal street markets adapt to climate-related disruptions through everyday practices, social networks, and informal governance arrangements? What similarities and differences can be observed in the experiences of climate stress and adaptation strategies between street markets in Brazil and those in African cities? How do urban infrastructure and local governance contexts mediate the relationship between climate change and informal market resilience?
