Abstract-This research gave insight on Mirabel's conflicts and personality as depicted in the movie Encanto.
In this study, the qualitative method was used to give more details and explained a simple summary of the conflicts and her personality as represented by the id, ego, and superego as the main human personality structures.
It was investigated by using Kenney's .
conflicts theory as well as Freud's psychoanalysis theory .
Mirabel's internal conflict was illustrated when she tried to accept that she did not have any gift as she was unlucky girl.
External conflicts included Mirabel versus Abuela, her mother, her sibling, nature and society.
The conflicts led the researchers to three main personalities.
The Id's personality is the humans have in order to get as much pleasure as Mirabel's impulsive and anger behavior demonstrates the id.
The ego's function is to find a realistic way to meet the demands.
MirabelAos ego was revealed when she ignored her heartbreak.
The superego, which is idealistic, acts to restrain the will of the id and oblige the ego to act morally.
Mirabel's super-ego was revealed when she requested an apology.

The movie is often considered a form of literature since it is entertaining to watch in the free When people have spare time, many of them watch movies.
In addition, language is used in the movies to express emotions and feeling as language allows people to connect to one another.
The movie is similar to a traditional television play in that it was photographed and directed Elsaesser .
Typically, a movie is referred to as a movie because it uses audio and visual communication to convey a message to everyone who watches it.
The movie 's message, which focuses on education, a slice of life, entertainment, and information, is centered on its overall Encanto is a 2021 computer animation from America with the theme fantasy and comedy, which produced by Walt Disney Animation Studio and generated by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.
This movie tells about Mirabel who comes from unusual family, which every ones in her family has their own gift.
For example, her aunt.
Pepa can control the weather by her mood, her uncle.
Bruno can see the future, and her mother.
Julieta is able to heal everyone by her food.
Not only that her cousin and her sibling have the gifts as well.
Unfortunately.
Mirabel who is the main character in this movie does not have the gift.
Everyone sees Mirabel as an unlucky child, however.
Mirabel does not get discouraged.
She tries her best to help their community like human being, not like her family who help the community by their magic.
Antonio who is MirabelAos cousin is turning 5 years old and will obtain the gift from the magic candle.
The community are invited to come to AntonioAos birthday, everybody enjoys the party in Antonio new room except Mirabel as her grandmother always angry to her.
Then, she goes out from AntonioAos room and she is seeing the crack from her magic house.
She wanders that there is something wrong with the family and starts her journey to protect her family even her family always get mad to her exclude her parent.

Conflicts can also be common in society or in daily lives, therefore, it is crucial to learn about Conflict makes the movie more interesting, as it causes the emotion of audiences to rise and fall while watching the movie.
Every good story contains conflict, therefore it's crucial for writers to comprehend how characters handle it, how to intensify character conflict, and how to resolve it when the time is right Smith .

Because it offers the major elements for the plot's building, conflict is important in literature.

Conflicts have an impact on everyone's behavior, both in fictional and actual circumstances.
Humans have the id, ego, and superego as their three main personality pillars, in accordance with Freud.
Human behavior becomes more complex with the influence of these three personalities.
In this article, the researcher applied Kenney's .
theory to examine the conflict faces by the main character.
Conflicts in a story can arise from both inside and outside characters and are classified into two types there are internal conflict, which occurs primarily within a single man or conflict between ideas, and external conflict, which occurs between man against man which one and another fight, man against nature when the character faces a problem caused by an animal or natural disaster, and man against society in which the main character maintains beliefs that are opposed from the community Kenney .
To analyze the psychological behavior of the main character, this study uses the theory of Freud .
There are three types of personality structures, such as id is a set of entirely selfish wants and impulses, the ego is the part of the mind that responds to the external community and allows the person to adjust to reality, and the super-ego which the behavior that establishes the personal rules and policies that will guide the character Freud .

Therefore, it stimulates the researcher to analyze deeply as it can broaden the understanding of people's personalities so that people can behave to others according to their personality, and how people deal with their problems by the personality they face because people's personalities are different.
METHODOLOGY
The data source used in this article is the movie, entitled Encanto.
This movie explains about ungifted child who tries to protect her family.
The researcher took the movie as a data source because the movie is one of the literary works in the form of audio-visual and is closely related to human life when she faces the conflict.
Therefore, it encourages the researcher to do depth analysis of the main character in Encanto as there are fascinating conflicts found in this movie as well as the personality structure faced by the main character.
The data were collected by applying the observation method, which explains below:
Observing the AuEncantoAy movie with attention and detail.
Creating a list of all the data about the main character.
Collected the information by paying close attention to the main character's behaviors, body language, and words.
Taking a note of main character's conflict and personality structure by citing the minute of the movie.
Sorting the information gathered into groups based on the conflict and personality structure of the main character.
This study used the descriptive qualitative method to elaborate the data with the theory.

RESULT AND DISCUSSION
Result This part shows the analysis result of conflict type and the personality structure faced by the main character AuMirabelAy, which is performed by the table to give a formal explanation of the The information is separated into two tables to classify the type of conflict and the personality applied in this movie.

The internal conflict was the struggle that originated in the main characterAos mind and affects the character's personality.

There was a conflict between man against a man when two characters faced up against one another, between man against society when the main character battled opposing opinions, practices, or habits of others, and between man against nature when a person's temperament fought with natural factors.
There were 17 data of conflict types, the internal conflict had 2 data shown by Mirabel vs.
The external conflict was 15 data, there were man against man found on Mirabel vs.

her mother.
Mirabel vs.
her sibling, and Mirabel vs.
her uncle.
Man against society was faced by Mirabel vs.
all Madrigal community and Mirabel vs.
Madrigal family.
The last which is man against nature, it can be seen from Mirabel vs.
Bruno room.
So, based on the highest data was external conflict, which meant that the main character got many struggles from the outside of himself which really hard for the main character to make everyone trust her.

The researcher got 7 data which showed in the scene when she got angry with her grandmother because her grandmother told her that she could not do anything as she did not has magic, her grandmother always spill her bad luck to Mirabel and pointed Mirabel of everything bad incident that happened to her family.
From all the anger that she kept, finally she took out all of her anger.
So, she resolved her conflict with her grandmother by using the id personality, which was put her desire by Anger to her grandmother as she could not kept it in her heart.
MirabelAos behavior in this idAos part tends to put the desires for everything more prioritized.
The ego was responsible for ensuring that there was a balance between pleasure and suffering in order for individuals to have a realistic experience and found 3 scenes, one scene that explained his behavior in ego was Mirabel got conflict with her sister Luisa as Mirabel wanted to know about her uncle Bruno.
Luisa was angry to Mirabel, in order to resolve the conflict Mirabel kept calm and avoided the fight by keeping quiet.
MirabelAos behavior tended to keep silent and avoid the problem was the egoAos personality that applied in this movie.

In general, it is a struggle between the conscious and unconscious minds of the character.

Since she thought her grandmother talk was true that she could not help the party celebration.
Then, she obeyed the order from her grandmother.
This behavior showed her ego by avoiding her heartbreaking, and follow what her grandmother told her as she also respected that her grandmother is older than her by saying AuMm-hmmAy.
So, she needed to obey of her grandmother order.
As the ego was the key force of reality which leads the personality structure to think logically.
2 Man Against Society - Mirabel & Madrigal Family .

She just blamed on her uncle Bruno instead because she thought that her uncle made her ruining the house rather than say sorry or accept her mistake by giving the statement AuIAom not doing anything! ItAos BrunoAos vision!Ay which could be increasing her ego that indicated she could not control herself and did not know which one is correct to do or not.
Her behavior was influenced by the id, which governed specific people to participate in his need-satisfying activities without adhering to what was good or wrong.
3 Man Against Nature - Mirabel & BrunoAos room .

When she tried to go to BrunoAos room as she wanted to know what happen with missing Bruno, her uncle and the other side, she wanted to help her family of the breaking house.
When she opened BrunoAos room, she found that his room was huge with a lot of stairs.
She passed through the stairs which made her tired and finally she got angry by saying AuMagical how many stairs fit in here.
Bruno, your room is the worst!Ay It could be concluded that the external conflict that occurred during the dialogue above was man against nature because it involved direct or indirect contact by natural phenomena, either by themselves or in group form with the other characters.
Based on the conversation above, the personality structure that behaved Mirabel to resolve the conflict was the super-ego.
Even though Mirabel has complained about BrunoAos room, however, she still passed the stairs because she committed that she would help her family by giving the utterance AuHahh, come on.
Okay.

Ay It can be seen from her utterance that her loyalty encouraged her to pass all the stairs as she wanted to help her family by decreasing her id as she conscious if she refused to do it, no one would safe in her family and she had no other choice as Unless she would pass the stairs until she got to BrunoAos cave.
It was possible to conclude that the superego was affected in this scene because the main character had the possibility to think about the good action.
In order to focus on this research, the researcher applied Kenney's .
theory to analyze the conflicts that the main character experienced.
Examining the personality structure faced by the main character was based on a theory developed by Freud .
This research gathered the data by focusing on the main character's habits, expressions, and utterances.
This study aimed at obtaining knowledge of the conflict and personality structure that the main character faced.
As a result, this study provided more background for the conflict and the analysis of the main character's personality which could assist the reader in developing their ability to understand and evaluate the conflict and how the main character's personality in this movie.
CONCLUSION
There were many conflicts in the Encanto movie.
It could be concluded that Mirabel, the main character, presided over the external conflicts.
Mirabel against her mother.
Mirabel against Isabela.
Mirabel against Luisa.
Mirabel against Abuela.
Mirabel against BrunoAos room, and Mirabel against all of the people in Madrigal were examples of the external conflict that the main characters had to deal with.
Mirabel vs.
Herself was one example of the internal conflict the main character Those conflicts faced by the main character were related to her behavior in resolving the conflict by observing her personality.
This movie included three personalities proposed by Freudian such as id, ego, and super-ego.
The personality structure that faced the main character in this movie was mostly found in id and super-ego as the main character could not control his action while facing the conflict and the other side the main character could control her anger since she thought that the reason of her fault is from MirabelAos behavior in this idAos part tends to prioritize the need of his egoistic.

Finally, this study contributed to improving the knowledge about the conflict faced by the main character and how he resolved the conflict through his behavior this study was using the qualitative descriptive method to explain the terms.
Encanto movie was a fascinating movie because it helped the audience understand how to resolve the conflict.
Based on the researcher this study's findings were anticipated to serve as a reference for the next studies.
In addition, the researcher advises the reader to consider another aspect of the Encanto movie from a different angle because there are many inherent elements, particularly the values of life, which can be examined.
