OBJECTIVE The objective of this study is to review coaching in nursing to improve the quality of discharge planning. METHODS Inclusion criteria were articles of qualitative research, correlation and experimental designs published in 2011-2016 written in Indonesian and English. Selected articles were the ones focusing discharge planning which were related to nurse managers and nursing care documentation.
