Surabaya 60219 ABSTRAK Pendidikan atau dalam hal ini adalah pedagogi turut menghadapi kendala saat pandemi Covid-19 terjadi, dampak terbesar dari pandemi dirasakan oleh baik siswa-siswi juga para pengajar atau guru-guru di sekolah. Pedagogi mengalami kondisi tidak biasa dan perlu beradaptasi dengan situasi pandemi, sehingga salah satu cara pedagogi adalah dengan menyusun program pembelajaran daring . sehingga siswa-siswi dan guru tetap bisa melangsungkan pembelajaran saat Covid-19 melanda. Persoalan utama dari penelitian ini adalah melihat bagaimana teori akomodasi komunikasi (Communication Accommodation Theor. diterapkan dalam interaksi antara guru bimbingan konseling dan siswa-siswi SMA Petra 1 Surabaya. Tujuan penelitian adalah menyuguhkan akomodasi komunikasi di tengah perubahan model pembelajaran daring. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan pendekatan kualitatif, di mana pengumpulan datanya menggunakan studi dokumen dan wawancara mendalam ke beberapa informan agar menemukan kesahihan dalam triangulasi sumber data. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Communication Accommodation Theory muncul di tindakan-tindakan akomodasi, ketidakakomodasian, dan interaksi dalam komunikasi simetris di antara siswa-siswi SMA Petra 1 Surabaya dengan guru bimbingan konseling mereka. Adaptasi yang mendasar dalam pedagogi daring adalah adaptasi dengan teknologi pembelajaran, kemudian berlanjut pada cara belajar baru. Konseling diadakan melalui aplikasi Zoom dan layanan chat, materi disampaikan secara ringkas agar siswa-siswi tidak bosan dan tetap fokus pada pedagogi. Kendala tidak terhindarkan saat jaringan Internet buruk, perbedaan persepsi antara guru BK dengan siswa-siswi, juga bila ada penurunan konsentrasi saat pedagogi luring berlangsung. Untuk menjaga akomodasi dan mengurangi ketidakakomodasian, diperlukan komunikasi simetris di antara kedua belah pihak. The purpose of this study is to explain the Communication Accommodation Theory that was carried out between counseling teacher and students at SMA Petra 1 Surabaya. This study uses a qualitative approach within a data collection method in the form of interviews and the study of documents. The result of this study shows that Communication Accommodation Theory occuring among counseling teacher and students is applied in online pedagogy in which they need to adapt their communication behavior and language pattern while interacting with each other. Communication Accommodation Theory is used to explain the process of adaptation during online pedagogy within the accommodation, unaccommodating actions, and symmetrical communication among students and counseling teacher. The pivotal adaptation in online pedagogy is adaptation to learning the latest technology, then moving on to a new way of learning. Counseling is held via Zoom application and chat devices and counseling material is delivered briefly so that students donAot get bored and stay focused on their pedagogy.
