Abstrak: Aplikasi conjunctive adjunct berkontribusi pada pengaturan informasi berjalan pada proses komunikasi termasuk pada teks berita.
Penelitian ini menganalisa bagaimanakah implementasi conjunctive adjunct oleh penyiar berita berbahasa Inggris pada channel BBC.
Objek penelitian adalah teks berita berjudul Hurricane Milton leaves destruction across Florida | BBC NewsAy yang diambil dari channel YouTube resmi milik BBC.
Objek utama adalah teks rertulis, dan pendukungnya adalah penampilan audiovisual para penyiar berita.
Design penelitian adalah qualitative.
Ada enam temuan utama yang meliputi menenangkan emosi penonton, memberikan semangat untuk selamat dari bencana, mendorong para pemangku kekuasaan untuk memberi perhatian kepada para korban, mengekspresikan simpati, menyampaikan penilaian keberutungan, dan menyampaikan pesan untuk memberikan respon cepat.
Conjunction tidak hanya ambil bagian dalam aspek linguistik, tapi juga berkontribusi mengatur jalannya informasi secara tepat.

The primary object is the written text, and the supporting object is the audiovisual anchor news performance.
The method of collecting and analysing data was conducted by applying qualitative design.

This research applied purposive sampling which is only the full-face performance of the news anchors who were taken as the data source.
In this case, the research participants are the women anchor news and the men field journalist.
Their speech transcript that was downloaded from the YouTube channel was analyzed by using the coding method of the qualitative research.

RESULTS AND DISCUSSION
This research proposes six findings of the implementation of the conjunctive adjunct in the object of the research.
Those findings are consistent with the problems of the introduction and the method.
They are also discussed deeply with the relevant previous studies.
