ABSTRACT Maharoh kalam is one of the important aspects in learning Arabic. One of the obstacles in achieving the learning objectives of maharoh kalam in the anxiety of speaking Arabic as a foreign language experienced by students during learning. Al Azhaar Islamic Junior High School Tulungagung is one of the schools that pays attention to the anxiety of speaking Arabic experienced by students. Students in grade VII in there experience various symptoms of Arabic speaking anxiety. This is inseparable from the strategies applied by the teacher to overcome it. This research aim to find and describe form of anxiety in speaking Arabic experienced by seventh grade students in there and teacher's strategy to overcome the anxiety. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with case study research. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation and The data is analyzed through condensation techniques, data presentation and conclusion.
