The students are taught by the classroom teacher. Furthermore, the facilities and environment in the process of teaching English is limited. To understand the elementary students in teaching and learning English, the teachers must be more creative and fun in giving material and make comfortable classroom. Before teaching, the teacher should prepare all needed in teaching and learning process, especially instructional giving to the students. This study aims to describe about the teachersAo instruction in teaching English during the Era of Covid-19 Pandemic at Islamic Elementary School of Tarbiyatus Sibyan. Srono-Banyuwangi. This study is descriptive qualitative research design which is describing the teaching and learning process about how the teachers are giving instruction in teaching English during Covid-19 pandemic. During the classroom activities, the teachers give clear instruction. After giving the instruction, the teachers ensure all students notice and understand all instruction given by the teachers. The teachers use suitable time in delivering the material. choosing suitable time, the teachers can easy in delivering the material. When giving the instructions, the teachers give clear instructions by using easy language to be understood by the students. After giving the instruction, the teachers check the students understanding by giving feedback in the form of instruction given. Keywords: Instruction. Teaching English. He formulates that there are three mains potentially affect the success of teaching English. The first factor is curriculum. consists of the instructional objectives of teaching, instructional materials, methodology, and the evaluation procedures in teaching. The second factor is the They select of the materials and thay are responsible for the teaching design, teaching execution, and teaching evaluation. The third factor is the learners who are learning English. Teaching English in Elementary school is hard. It is because there is no special English teacher whose scientific field is English. Lee . stated that the online of teaching system mostly use technologies in constructing the infrastructure of systems with adequate performances. This statement means that technology cannot be separated from the online teaching. According to Coombs . , the growth of online teaching is also having effect in the recent development of information technology. Scheg . said that technology has changed and grown, the learners can dot he learning and teaching process in different place by using technology. Questionnaire and interview are the instruments in collecting the data. Both instruments are used to know the instruction used by the teacher in teaching English at Islamic Elementary School. After collecting the data, the analysis is done by describing the result of questionnaire and the result of interview. The respondents of this research are all English teachers in Islamic Elementary School of Tarbiyatus Sibyan Srono-Banyuwangi. There are four respondents, which are consist of 2 female and 2 males. The respondents have taught more than three years. They are classroom teacher who teach English subject. The instruments used in this study are questionnaire and interview. These instruments are used to know how the teachersAo instruction in teaching English during the Era of Covid-19 Pandemic at Islamic Elementary School of Tarbiyatus Sibyan. Srono-Banyuwangi. The data obtained from questionnaire and interview of English teachers in Islamic Elementary School of Tarbiyatus Sibyan Srono-Banyuwangi. After getting the data, analyzing the data ia carried out by describing the result of questionnaire and interview of English teachers in Islamic Elementary School of Tarbiyatus Sibyan Srono-Banyuwangi. Model Penelitian HASIL DAN PEMBAHASAN The findings of this study are from questionnaire and interview data which is taken from English Teacher at Islamic Elementary School. The results of questionnaires and interviews show that most teachers use offline learning in teaching English during pandemic era. It is because, the head master gives announcement to do learning and teaching process in fifty-fifty, its mean that 50% in online learning and teaching and 50% in offline learning and teaching. In online teaching and learning, the teachers used WhatsApp application in delivering and giving material. This application is quite effective, because all students have the application. Doing offline learning and teaching process is effective, because the teacher can deliver material face to face. Besides that, the students can continue asking question when they are confused with the material or instruction given by the teachers. The teachers always prepare the material given before start learning and teaching activities in the They prepare by choosing the suitable material and suitable method in delivering the material. Besides that, the teachers prepare the activities which will do in the classroom. In giving the instruction during the classroom activities, the teachers make sure that all the needed in class activities well prepared. Both online and offline learning and teaching can be effective when the teachers give clear instruction.
