Abstract This study aims to find out about the Life Skills of Processing Sago into Bagea for the Young Generation in Ihamahu Village.

INTRODUCTION
One of the potential natural resources in Maluku which is considered effective in addressing these problems, especially the problem of the vulnerability of the availability of clean water, poverty and food insecurity, namely the sago plant.

After going through the Begea burning process, it is then taken out and ready to be sold according to the value of the order offered.
For you culinary lovers, it is very appropriate for you to visit and enjoy typical food that has a high taste and historical value on Bumi Rara Raja Maluku.
The definition of youth above is more of a technical definition based on age category while other definitions are more flexible.

METHOD
Research Type Descriptive research is research that is directed as a problem solving procedure that is investigated by describing or describing the state of the research object based on what appears or as it is.

Thus it can be concluded that the life skills of making bagea can have an impact on changing the economy of the community's family, related to this also the business of making sago tumbu is very good and needs to be done in order to increase regional income.
Bagea's life skills also provide opportunities for the community to create their own jobs to answer the economic needs of their families.
The following table describes the bagea life skills as the basic capital for empowering the Ihamahu community.

This can be seen from the answers given based on research instrument data which was circulated, namely 90% of 100% were in the "Yes" answer category while 10% chose the "sometimes" answer category.
This shows that the desire of the community to empower themselves is very high.
Thus it can be concluded that Bagea's life skills have had a very good impact on the ihamahu community both in terms of family economy and education.

This means that the life skills of making sago bagea can answer the unemployment problem that occurs in Ihamahu village.
Thus it can be concluded that the life skills of making sago bagea are a model for the realization of government programs in reducing budgeting rates as well as people who are prosperous and have an entrepreneurial spirit that is able to compete in the global era.

, 129-138 The data in table 7 above is seen based on the respondents' answers to the instruments being circulated, so it is known that 75% of respondents answered "yes" and 15% answered "sometimes" while 10% of respondents were in the "no" answer category.
Thus it can be concluded that the learning activities carried out by the government both in the form of socialization individually, in groups and in general have been carried out properly, although there is still a shortage of time encountered when carrying out these activities but this has not become an obstacle for the government in implementing the community empowerment program.

This means that the results obtained from the sago bage processing business are still not in accordance with what is expected, due to the varying purchasing power of the people.
Thus it can be concluded that from a marketing perspective, according to Poernomo 2005, marketing is an attempt to sell, market and distribute goods or objects to other people or to consumers or to the market.

, 129-138 The transformation of the values of making sago bagea is an aspect of traditional learning from ancestral parents to generations of children and grandchildren, therefore the government provides opportunities for the ihamahu village community in general as well as young men and women who have dropped out of school in particular to develop their knowledge and knowledge in the field of Out-of-School Education , by implementing cooperation with the city/provincial government in community empowerment programs that have an impact on family welfare.
Making sago bagea greatly affects the welfare of family life.
For this reason, various forms of making sago bagea are sought according to the demands of consumer needs.
Making sago bagea in Ihamahu village can increase family income, as well as help the village government in increasing village income.
For this reason, it is necessary to have cooperation between the village government and entrepreneurs in promoting sago bagea within the region and outside the Maluku region.
Because the results of field observations prove that sago bagea is already a snack that has been produced and consumed for a long time.
