These are some of the limitations of the garbage can model of the decision-making process. However, it would be better if the authors included an introduction and summary for each of the chapters to make it easier to understand for the readers. The content of the book is extensive, and the reader can easily use it if it is written with a focus on the main points. On the other hand, the handbook is essential for policy studies, government bodies, as well as for researchers to understand different theories and models of the public policy process that have to be taken into consideration.
