Katharine & Isabel Myers . The sample for this research was students of the Seventh Semester English Language Education Writing Class of 2022/2023 at the University of Papua. Results In this section, the researcher showed the result based on the MBTI test of the students and the interviewed from 4 out of 20 samples. Turbulent (T) is a person who is more anxious, perfectionist and has selfconscious. While, an Assertive is the person who is more calm, laid back and has more confidence. So, even the MBTI is the same type, but the personality inventory is different. Discussions In this part, researchers explained about the result of the MBTI test and interview. Based on the MBTI test, there are 4 samples who get interviews. Based on the first question (Q. , do you prefer reading or writing? 2 out of 4 samples have the same opinion that they prefer reading rather than S2 and S9 prefer to write, they mention that "reading a book, especially fiction, is not boring and not wasting their energy". Same line with Dyrnyei . explains that introverts are more interested in activities such as reading, writing, and drawing compared to activities that do not require them to be outdoors. Therefore, they spend a lot of time reading. Reading can make them have a large vocabulary and broaden their insight. They also have the habit of writing everything down in detail. With these habits, you can dream of having a good memory. Although not all introverts feel comfortable writing, some of their habits are very helpful in writing, they just need to be trained to have better writing skills. The results also show that not all introverts agree that their personality can improve their writing However, the habits of the introverts in this study have some similarities in that they like to read and write things in detail when writing. In addition, there are several statements made by other researchers that are consistent with the findings of this study. Brown . states that an introvert is a person who can gain a sense of wholeness and fulfill it in their own way. The evidence for this statement is based on the answers of the respondents who strongly stated that they liked reading as a way to fulfill their sense of wholeness. After asking the first question to the respondents, all of whom like to read, one respondent said that he likes to read because it doesn't waste his energy. Without wasted energy, they can feel wholeness, and reading is their way of fulfilling it. Then for question number 2 (Q. do you like to write stories, and if so, what topics do you often use? They have the same opinion about this question. They mention that "they like to write about themselves, write a fiction story and about anything that happens around them". (Q. how do you feel when you write? S2 mentions that "I feel happy when I write because I can write down my feelings", while S4 feels relaxed when she writes because she can express everything that she can't talk about, such as when she is angry, sad, or happy. Furthermore. S9 and S17 have the same opinion as S4 and S2. Based on the result of Q2 and Q3, researcher agree with Laney . states that an introvert has high levels of dopamine. Therefore, they do not need much interaction to relax without stress or Researchers agree with this statement. This makes it very clear why introverted students don't like crowded places and prefer to spend their time reading or writing about their feelings. According to Richards and Schmidt . , introverts prefer to avoid social contact with other people, they also delve into their imagination, feelings, thoughts and experiences. (Q. Do you prefer to write in detail or briefly? For the last question, 3 of them have the same opinion where they prefer to write with the detailed explanation, they are sample 4, sample 9, and But one of them prefers to write in a short way. The results of this study prove that there are no specific affect introverts, but introverted personalities have habits that can help them improve their writing skills as discussed in the results above. Conclusions Based on the results and discussion above, this paper reports that there is no specific influence between students' introverted personalities and their writing skills. However, students with introverted personalities tend to have good writing skills because of their habits. Thus, it can be concluded that every student who has an introverted personality does not necessarily have good writing skills, but the habits of students who have an introverted personality such as reading non-fiction or fiction books, writing stories about everyday life can help students to improve their writing skills. By reading a lot, students have a wider vocabulary and can use it when writing. In addition, by frequently expressing their thoughts through writing, students will find it easier to determine the flow of their writing. It can be concluded that every student who has an introverted personality does not necessarily have good writing.
