The hypothesis in this study is that there is a relationship between mother's age, gravida status, gestational age and history of disease with the incidence of severe preeclampsia in pregnant women. The population and samples from this study were PEB pregnant women in the Riau Islands region. Researchers use non-probability sampling with the purposive sampling method, which is a sampling technique based on certain goals and objectives in accordance with inclusion and exclusion criteria. CONCLUSION Based on the results of a study entitled Risk Factors for the Occurrence of PEB in Pregnant Women in the Riau Islands Region 2019, it can be concluded that the respondents used were as many as 30 pregnant women.
