They are at high risk of experiencing work stress due to direct responsibility for patient safety and health in high-pressure environments. This study aimed to identify factors associated with work stress among psychiatric nurses at Dadi Hospital. South Sulawesi Province. It was an observational analytic study with a cross-sectional approach, involving a population of 142 nurses. A sample of 104 nurses was obtained using proportionate stratified random sampling. Data analysis was conducted using univariate and bivariate methods with the chi-square test.
