Method: The study involved community interaction and field observations. It included surveying areas without nameplates, designing appropriate signs, and installing them in the village. Practical Applications: Installing street signs improves navigation for residents and visitors. This project can serve as a model for similar villages facing the same issue. Through this program, students can specifically participate in preparing real work programs for the needs of village communities with street signs indicating addresses that are clear and easy for the village community to understand. To achieve this, students must interact with village communities, understand the needs and challenges they face, and look for sustainable solutions that have a positive impact. An example of a village targeted for implementing this program is Bukit Batu Village in Manggai District. Kapuas Regency. Bukit Batu Village is a village located in Mantangai District. Kapuas Regency. However, unfortunately this village does not yet have adequate street signage. This can be a challenge for village residents and visitors in finding the desired address. Without clear street signage, villagers and visitors may have difficulty finding the desired address. They have to rely on guidance from people around them or use other methods, so this can waste a lot of time and energy that could be used for other things. Additionally, without visible street signage. Bukit Batu village could also potentially face higher security issues. Currently, people often have difficulty finding the address they are looking for because there are no clear directions along the way. Lack of clear street signage can cause inconvenience and waste time in searching for the desired address. Street signage that is difficult to see can also be a potential problem during an emergency, such as a fire or natural Because in situations like this, the rescue team or fire department really needs fast and accurate address information to get to the right place. Incorrect address information can hinder rescue efforts and cause unnecessary losses. Apart from that, making signs that are easy to read and visible can also increase the attractiveness and beauty of an area. Method Community service activities by KKN (Community Service Progra. students with their contribution to installing street address signboards, which is one of the village's shortcomings and needs help to be overcome. This activity was held in Bukit Batu Village. Mantangai District. Kapuas Regency. The data collection method used is direct interaction with the community to communicate and discuss the shortcomings of this village. This village does not yet have adequate street signage. This can be a challenge for villagers and visitors in finding the desired address. In this effort, the role of KKN children can also be very significant. They can work together with village communities to design, make and install the necessary road signs. The method for implementing community service activities consists of three stages, including a field survey at the location where RT/RW and Hamlet signboards will be installed. Then the Community Service Officer looks at the conditions around the Village to see villages that still do not have signboards. Several stages of activities carried out are: Village Survey At this stage, the KKN student group mingle with the community to interact and discuss village needs which can be helped by the KKN group in participating in producing real programs in the field as a provision for students to improve their skills and abilities based on the knowledge they have gained while studying at college. Students together with the Village Head and local community will directly survey several villages that still need street nameplates. From the results of the field survey carried out, it was decided to make 11 road signs indicating village addresses. The length of time for the process of making this road sign was in accordance with the schedule that had been determined by the KKN group. The next step is the activity of installing hamlet signposts at predetermined location points. Figure 1. Making Street Nameplate Design Installation of Street Nameplates The implementation of installing street nameplates is the final stage carried out by the KKN group together with the Village Manager and the local community. After determining the street nameplate that will be installed, it is prepared until it is ready to be installed. The existence of this program for making street signs brings benefits that can be felt by village communities. Even the KKN group also evaluates the level of community satisfaction with the programs that have been implemented. So, it can be a measure of the effectiveness of the KKN student group program. The process used comprised mapping out the community, creating the signs, and then putting them up. Collaboration with local government agencies and community members was a part of the process, which showed how academic institutions can be essential in using community engagement to solve real-world problems. This initiative also emphasizes how crucial proper roadway signs is for reasons other than convenience. In times of emergency, such fires or natural disasters, conspicuous signage can significantly improve the effectiveness of rescue efforts by guaranteeing that assistance reaches the right spot promptly. Furthermore, the town is more aesthetically pleasing and well-organized with appropriate signage, which may draw in more tourists and possible new inhabitants (Hidayati et al. , 2024. Kapuas Regency, was carried out well through the collaboration of the village community who also contributed to its implementation, because of their availability they were able to build communication and discuss together to find solutions while adapting to what was needed by the community. There were no special difficulties encountered by the service members in the preparation process, determining the design, and installing the street nameplate. Implementation of this program includes 3 stages, namely: village survey, design and manufacture of street nameplates, and installation of street nameplates. So, this program is not only useful for village communities, but also useful for KKN students because it provides direct experience of being able to work in the field with the nameplate program produced.
